This 2005 BMW M3 coupe is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and is finished in Carbon Black Metallic over Cinnamon Nappa leather (fulling nappa/zimt). Equipment includes seat heaters as well as 19″ CSL wheels, Competition package brakes, xenon headlights, a Harman Kardon sound system with xm, 6 cd changer, automatic climate control, white directional indicators, ski bag, rear headrest, headlight cleaners, and anthracite headliner. This car was the personal M3 from Rajaie Qubain, founder of Beisan Systems. This car was acquired from Lama Munday by a Raleigh dealership called AMS Sales and Service that formerly did all the work and Vanos R&D for Beisan systems since 2013; and personally by the owner since 2009. There was no one more enthusiastic about M3’s than Rajaie. His attention to detail, and precision permanently cured the E46 M3’s underlying flaws for all of us, as well as many BMW models. Back in 2012 Rajaie was looking for the most iconic color combo of Carbon Black Metallic over Cinnamon Nappa Leather, and Brushed Aluminum Shadow trim. He looked for over a year with no luck finding a minty fresh low mileage example. At which point he bought a complete Cinnamon interior for about $5,000 to swap into another Carbon Black Metallic car. Then as soon as he acquired that interior his luck changed and this car became available in 2013 he purchased the car of his dreams from a dealership in Ohio that checked all the boxes with only 31k on the clock. During his time with us he ended up putting 41,000 smiles in the car, current mileage 72082.
Rajaie was meticulous and overly proactive at maintaining his M3 during his ownership of this car. Known work performed by the owner is, but not limited to, regular 10w60 oil changes, spark plugs, oil pressure relief valve, belts, fuel filter, C-pillars, center console for new hazard switch & retainer, pinion seal, flex disk, center support bearing, differential and transmission fluid changes, coolant flush, power steering flush, cabin and air filters, mass air cleaning, water pump and thermostat, rear wheel bearing, rear control arm, Powerflex rear trailing arm bushings, rear spring, 4 Michelin Pilot Sports, alignment, front and rear competition brake pads and rotors, brake fluid flush, lock tight intake chain guide rail, wipers, ac compressor, dryer, expansion valve, battery, hood emblem, ceramic coated rod bearing & bolts, oil pan & level sensor gasket, valve adjustment, new BMW tri color M-stitch steering wheel, full paint correction and ceramic coating of entire car & wheels, valve cover gasket, valve adjustment, upgraded timing chain guides, and of course many Vanos R&D full rebuilds. This E46 M3 has 72k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean accident free Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name resigned to AMS Sales.
The car is finished in Carbon Black Metallic (416) and Cinnamon interior is equipped with Brushed Aluminum Shadow trim as well as xenon headlights, fog lights, a glass sunroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a trunk lid spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. Competition Brakes were originally installed by the dealership that Raj purchased the car from, but were replaced with new pads and rotors in 2021 about 2000 miles ago.
The 19″ CSL Style 163m wheels front 225/40 and 255/35 Michelin Pilot Sport tires that were mounted in November 2021. The heated power-adjustable front sport seats and door-panel inserts are upholstered in Cinnamon Nappa leather, and the dashboard and center console are accented Brushed Aluminum Shadow trim. Additional amenities include automatic climate control, a BMW Business CD stereo with XM, Harman Kardon audio, car cover, and cruise control.
The new multifunction leather-wrapped steering wheel features M-color stitching and frames a 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The odometer indicates 72k miles, approximately 41k of which were added by the Rajaie Qubain.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six was factory rated at 333 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. This was the source of the R&D development for Beisan Systems. This vanos has been out many times to install new parts, put miles on them, pull them back out to check for wear and continue further development of new improved parts. The replacement of the water pump, thermostat, accessory belt tensioners and pulleys were fitted in 2019. Additional work performed in 2021 included a valve adjustment and replacement of the valve cover gasket, and spark plugs. An oil change and rod bearings were carried out in August 2022 after the seller acquired the car.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Rear subframe mounts are in great shape. We can install reinforcement plates at additional charge before delivery is taken if so desired.
Manufacturer’s literature, and two main keys are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows zero accidents or damage and lists history imported from Germany to South Carolina, then OH, IN, VA, Il, and NC.
This car was owned by the most kind, loving, and helpful BMW enthusiast ever to touch the E46 M3, and it deserves to find a new home to continue proper care and enjoyment for years to come.
